It's hard to share your birthday with Thanksgiving, but it happens to McKay every 7 years! He did get to celebrate with friends before we left for Idaho for Thanksgiving. Happy 16th Birthday, McKay! We love you!

We had a great Thanksgiving in Idaho - lots of yummy food and hanging out with cousins. Thanks Kayleen and Roy for opening your home to everyone!

Then on Friday Roy was nice enough to take the boys on rides in his parachute plane thingy! They loved it! Thanks, Roy, for spending all day taking one of us for a ride, repacking the chute, moving the plane, unpacking the chute and taking the next one for a ride, then starting all over again!

And, of course, the highlight of our trips to Idaho - Grandma!

The birthday thing, three of us in my little family get our birthday on or around Thanksgiving every year. Sometimes it's a bummer, some times it's fun. But, happy birthday to your big guy. Now for the big question, is that the girlfriend standing by him?? She's a cutie.

The pictures from Thanksgiving day make me a little homesick, but I'll remedy that over Christmas :)

She has got to be the cutest little Grandma ever! I LOVE the picture you took on Grandma's front step! Darling!

Looks like you guys had a fun time for Thanksgiving & McKay's birthday. McKay sure has a lot of cute "girlfriends"! : ) That's great about starting up running again. It sure took quite a bit of effort for me to get back into racing shape after having Lincoln. It doesn't take very long to lose all your endurance for sure! Happy Running & Merry Christmas!
