Merry Christmas!!

It was so nice to have a very white Christmas!! Although it was a little bit scary driving home from Bountiful from the Burnett family Christmas party! We had a great time visting with family, opening presents and sharing germs!! There were quite a few of us that got the stomach flu. Yuck!

My picture-taking skills are taking a turn for the worse. It seems like all of the pictures I take are blurry! I must be doing something wrong!

We had another fun get together with Hiram's brothers and families the next day! It's not very often that all four of them are together. We really miss Robert and Jana and family and are happy to have Blaine and Cindy and family back!!

Kyle had a birthday, shout hooray!

I think Kyle enjoyed his birthday. He went snowboarding most of the day and then spent the evening with his friends watching movies and eating pizza and donuts. Kyle is such a sweet and easy child to have around with a lot going for him! We love you Kyle!

Before the party was over we received some sad news. Hiram's sister, Holly and her husband, Tyler, lost their sweet little Elle Marie. She was born at 21 weeks. We were able to leave the party and go to the hospital and see the sweet, perfect little girl. Holly was pregnant with twins and the little boy is doing well and has made it to 23-1/2 weeks. Holly has been in the hospital for 3 weeks and will stay until the baby is born. What a trooper!

Because we left to go to the hospital, there are no birthday pictures for Kyle so I'll post a picture from the Burnett family Christmas Party with his awesome cousins!

Last football post . . .

We went to McKay's football banquet without the camera! It was very crowded with most of the 60 players and their parents. The coaches had a lot of good to say about McKay and we are very proud of him for how hard he played and how well he did! This is the first year that the coaches got trophies for a sophomore team at Riverton High, but because they were undefeated, they thought it was the least they could do! They've got a bright future ahead of them!

Mitchell's football banquet was lots of fun! It was at the new "My Noah's" with pizza, salads, desserts and a visit from the BINGHAM coach with cookies in hand (paying up on a bet). The kids enjoyed dodge ball, pool, ping pong and just hanging out together!

It's hard to share your birthday with Thanksgiving, but it happens to McKay every 7 years! He did get to celebrate with friends before we left for Idaho for Thanksgiving. Happy 16th Birthday, McKay! We love you!

We had a great Thanksgiving in Idaho - lots of yummy food and hanging out with cousins. Thanks Kayleen and Roy for opening your home to everyone!

Then on Friday Roy was nice enough to take the boys on rides in his parachute plane thingy! They loved it! Thanks, Roy, for spending all day taking one of us for a ride, repacking the chute, moving the plane, unpacking the chute and taking the next one for a ride, then starting all over again!

And, of course, the highlight of our trips to Idaho - Grandma!
